Process

My Process

My process, as most do, begins with brainstorming of the problem. I create a problem statement and begin to lay out messy sketches, notes, and ideas on large sheets, boards, or using digital tools such as Miro. These short form idea generation sessions can often provide me with 10-20 solutions to persue and filter. I will then sketch these ideas out, refine them, and create basic wireframes and mockups using scrap materials or online tools.

SensoWell is an innovative application centred around health tracking and effective communication, specifically designed for autistic individuals. The app boasts a comprehensive health breakdown, tailored tracking options, and personalised advice, assisted by an intelligent chatbot feature that provides immediate support and answers to users’ questions. Additionally, it includes an Autism ID and a dedicated information page for clinical use, which can be invaluable for communicating effectively with healthcare professionals. Users have the flexibility to add any accommodations they may require to their profiles, ensuring that the app meets their unique needs and that clinical staff can tailor appointments to specific requirements. Health tracking can be conducted through two routes: users can choose to log their data as often or as little as they feel necessary, accommodating varying preferences and comfort levels. The app’s sophisticated health and symptom analytics are automatically categorised according to severity, simplifying communication with caregivers and healthcare providers. This organisation not only aids users in understanding their health status but also plays a crucial role in decision-making regarding when to seek professional health advice for any concerning symptoms, ultimately empowering users to manage their health better and improve their overall well-being.
